Kyle and Karla Memmott have each had long and successful careers. Kyle has been a litigation attorney for over 33 years with AAA. Karla has over 30 years of experience in risk management. They have raised four children, two of whom were homeschooled. After graduating their children, Karla continued her education earning a PhD in humanities, and remained active in the homeschooling community by teaching classes in-person and online. Kyle served as president of a local church, and has been actively involved in financially mentoring individuals and couples through Ramsey Solutions where he has completed the financial coach master training program. Together, they coached high school mock trial teams and competed in tournaments where their teams won national and county championships, and placed in international tournaments.

Kyle and Karla enjoyed working with students and have come to realize the significant impact coaching, mentoring, and teaching have on young adults. As they transition out of their vocational careers, they are committed to full-time ministry by serving Christian homeschooling families. After much prayer and discussion with community members, they have created a non-profit—Acacia Classical Academy—which is established to partner with Christian Homeschooling parents to teach students to love God, serve others, and lead communities by instilling core values which are Christ-centered, Community-Focused, Discipleship-minded, and Piety-oriented through Classical Education.

They desire to partner with Christian families to shape the hearts and minds of the next generation with Christ-centered, classical education. No homeschooling family should be left behind.
